The Content System I Use To Generate 250,000+ Views in 4-8 Hours Per Month
Every month I spend 4-8 hours creating a core group of content.
That content is seen 250,000-1,000,000 times.
(And will be there as a footprint for me forever.)
Of those that see it, many will engage, some will follow, others might lurk.
And a few will become clients.
Let's be super conservative and say only 1 converts into a client (very safe given that we landed 10 new clients in August).
That could be worth anywhere between £18,000-£60,000 of revenue for us per year.
Seems like time well spent right?
And that's important for me - because I'm busy. I'm sure you are too.
Fortunately the system I've developed for content ensures I can produce high quality output, at scale.
In other words, I can produce tons of really good content.
I start with 1 idea for each week.
Break it down into 20-30 pieces of content.
Schedule them in advance and distribute over 6-7 channels.
Then sit tight knowing my personal brand and business are growing.
The process looks a little like this:
1 Podcast Episode
⬇
1 YouTube Video
⬇
1 Blog (you're reading it)
⬇
1 Twitter Thread
⬇
5-10 LinkedIn Posts
⬇
10-15 Tweets
⬇
5 Insta Reels
⬇
5 TikToks
All of these pieces of content are based on the same concept or idea, which I share in detail in my podcast.
That's the important part, and where the bulk of the work is. It's worth the initial time investment ensuring the 'content' of the podcast is of the highest quality.
Because every other piece of content is repurposed from that.
So if the original podcast is good, everything else will be (and easy to create)
But if you put shit into this machine, you get shit out.
Once I've record the podcast, I upload it to Spotify and Apple Podcasts via Anchor.
Then I transcribe it into text through Descript.
I make a few edits to the transcription and use it as the basis for blogs like these.
The blog then gets structured into an in-depth tweet thread.
The tweet thread is broken into 5-10 LinkedIn posts.
The key points in those LinkedIn posts turn into 10-15 tweets.
These tweets are screenshotted and re-shared on Instagram
I speak those tweets, adding a little context, on video.
Send them to my amazing editor and receive 5 reels/TikToks.
And at the end of this process I have visibility across 6-7 platforms every day of the week.
All from 1 idea and 1 piece of 'pillar content'.
Here's a break down of how many views I got across each channel in August:
Podcast: 96 (but this okay, I explain why in the podcast)
Blog: 415
LinkedIn: 193,000
Twitter: 20,000
TikTok: 9,100
Instagram: 18,700
You can see I have one leading channel - LinkedIn - which I've been using the longest.
The podcast is 1 month old. My Instagram and TikTok not much older.
You'll probably find you have a 'priority channel' too.
80% of your results will come from that channel.
But when repurposing content is this easy, it makes sense to diversify.
So try it, and enjoy the peace of mind you get when you know your personal brand is creating income and leverage for you across a number of channels, even when you're taking sales calls, walking the dog, or watching the football.
